VN-1 TURBO CLEANING KIT USERS GUIDE

STEP 1
- remove exhaust exit pipe from exhaust outlet of turbo, typically a single v band style clamp or the bolted flange type. Carefully remove any gaskets and move exhaust exit to one side to allow space for the vn1 bung system.

STEP 2
- ensure turbo exhaust outlet port and rubber bung are both clean and dry free from contaminants.

STEP 3
- Take the separate bung assembly and size up bung to exhaust outlet port, lightly tighten the wing nut to ensure a snug press fit is established, fully press bung into exhaust outlet as straight and fully in as achievable then fully tighten the wing nut until desired air-tight fit.

STEP 4
- attach tubing assembly via quick connector to bung hose connector inlet ensuring that it is locked into position.

STEP 5
- attach actuator vacuum pump to actuator if applicable to articulate vgt mechanism during cleaning.

STEP 6
- Attach the can via the push fit connector, shake can and make sure all feed pipes are secured.

STEP 7
- ensure pressure return pipe has appropriate drain off into a suitable container.

STEP 8
- spray power foam for approximately 3 seconds at 20 second intervals for approximately 20 minutes until the can contents are depleted, shake can intermittently during this process and articulate vgt mechanism with vacuum pump during this process.

STEP 9
- remove quick connector from bung system and undo wing nut. Pull bung system from turbo outlet.

STEP 10
- refit flange gasket if applicable and exhaust flange or v band clamp tightened to appropriate torque.

STEP 11
- refit actuator vacuum pipe if applicable.
